It has been about a year since our solar power system went online. Here’s an updated on how it has performed:

• We have generated 30.34 MWh of electricity
• This has saved DirecTEX about $3,340 in energy costs
• More importantly, this has saved the equivalent of roughly 47,000 lbs of carbon dioxide emissions
• This is the equivalent to planting about 1310 trees. 

All of this despite an unusually snowy winter, which limited energy production during those months.
